Comments: The enzyme, found in some amino acid-fermenting anaerobic bacteria, participates in the fermentation pathways of L-phenylalanine, L-tyrosine, and L-tryptophan. Unlike EC, 2-enoate reductase, this enzyme has minimal activity with crotonate.
